Hauge, Malene (8 Jun 1903 - 22 Feb 1914)
Malene Hauge, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hauge, died at their home in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), Sunday morning Feb. 22, 1914 after about a two weeks illness, aged ten years, eight months and fourteen days. Her death comes as a hard blow to the parents and two brothers as she was a sweet, winsome child and the only daughter in the family. Her death is also greatly mourned by her classmates in school, where she was a great favorite. The deepest sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents by all who know them.
The funeral was held at the home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. H. Brandt officiating.
