Ayers, Lois (1876 - 11 May 1914)

Mrs. Gust Ayers died at the Marshfield Hospital Monday, May 11, 1914, while undergoing a surgical operation. Deceased, whose maiden name was Lois Wells was born in Neillsville, Clark County in 1876; being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carmi Wells. She grew to womanhood here and in Jan. 1901, she was married to Gust Ayers of the town of Grant and went to live on his farm in that town, which has been their home ever since. Besides her husband who survives her, she leaves a little boy about twelve years of age to mourn her death.

The funeral was held at the M.E. Church in Neillsville last Sunday, Rev. Wilson Mallory of Stevens Point preaching the funeral sermon.

The bereaved husband and little son wish to thank the friends and neighbors for the ready sympathy and help given to them in the time of their trouble and bereavement.
