Oldham, Jessie (Marriage - 26 Feb 1913)
Mr. Ernest Bloomer and Miss Jessie Oldham were married at the home of the bride’s sister at Altoona, Wis., Feb. 26, 1913.
A most interesting fact in connection with this marriage is that both bride and groom are deaf mutes.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. Wm. Oldham of Pine Valley, Clark County, and was educated in the day school for the deaf, conducted here by Mrs. Irish, and later at the State School in Delavan. She grew up here from childhood and many people here are much interested in her welfare and wish for the young couple a happy life.
The groom is the son of a wel-to-do and respected family and is a graduate of Delevan.
They will be at home at Delevan after March 15th.
