Raine, Maude (Marriage - 9 Apr 1913)
Mr. Herbert Counsell and Miss Maude Raine were married April 9, 1913 at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Raine, in Pine Valley, Clark County, Rev. Prescott officiating. Only relatives and near friends of the parties were present. The bride was attended by Misses Ella Raine and Nina Counsell, and Clyde Raine and Clarion Counsell acted as groomsmen.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. E. Counsell, of Pleasant Ridge. He is a young man of good character and is an intelligent and progressive young farmer.
The bride is a young lady of fine mental and moral endowments, and well prepared in every way to do her part in founding and building the new home.
The young couple have rented the Julius Benedict farm in Grant and will begin housekeeping there.
