Vollrath, Ida (Marriage - 12 Jun 1913)
Mr. Jacob Speich and Miss Ida Vollrath were married Thursday evening, Jun 12, 1913 at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Vollrath, in the town of Warner, Clark County, Rev. saewert officiating.
About eighty guests were present, nearly all of who were relatives of the parties.
The groom is a most enterprising young man. He took charge of the large Withee farm at Hemlock when only nineteen years of age and has carried it on for six years. He is one of the eight brothers who all stand high in the community.
The bride’s family is also well and favorably known, her father being one of the leading men of Clark County. She has for some time filled a responsible position in the Rossman-Steiger store at Greenwood. They will begin housekeeping at once at the Hemlock farm.
