Wegner, Anna (Marriage - 18 Jun 1913)
An event which should have been chronicled last week, was the marriage of Everett Raine and Miss Anna Wegner at the home of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wegner in Pine Valley, Clark County, Jun 18, 1913. Clyde Raine and Thornton Milton attended the groom and Helen and Clara Wegner acted as bridesmaids. The home was handsomely decorated in pink and white and a wedding bell of ferns was suspended over bridal party at the ceremony. The wedding march was played by Mrs. James Shummel. A most bountiful wedding supper was served.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Raine. He is a young man of most excellent qualities, and stands high in this community for his energy, intelligence and goo moral character. The bride also enjoys the most favorable esteem of a large acquaintance. For some time past she has held a position in the Big Store where her efficiency and pleasant manner won her many friends.
After a visit among friends in this locality the young couple left last Friday for Cuba City, where the groom has a position on a large farm.
We join in wishing them success in life.

I am wondering if these people are relatives of mine. My grandfather was named Milton Raine and was married to a Helen. ???? Leslie Vaca (Raine), lesvaca@yahoo.com
