Silbernagel, Emma (Marriage - 26 Augl 1913)
Mr. Marvin Jahr and Miss Emma Silbernagel were married Tuesday at the home of the bride’s parents in Madison. The groom is one of the young men of Pleasant Ridge, Clark County, of whom the entire community takes a proud interest. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Jahr. After graduating from the Neillsville High School he entered the State University and took a scientific course, and for some time followed teaching, becoming principal of Humbird High School. Later he returned to the University and completed a full course in Agriculture and has a good position in the Illinois State Agricultural College. The bride is well known to some of our University students, and she has also visited here and has made many friends. She is a young lady of excellent ability and character.
We join in wishing them a successful life.
Those who went from here to attend the wedding were the groom’s mother, his sister, Mrs. Fred Raine and Miss Clara Jahr, and his brother Walter.
