Mead, Bessie (Marriage - 24 Oct 1913)
Mr. Loys L. Buell and Miss Bessie Mead were married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mead, Saturday, Oct 24, 1913 at six o’clock. Only immediate relatives and friends were present at the marriage. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H.A. Risser. After the ceremony a bountiful supper was served.
The bride is one of Neillsville, Clark County’s brightest young ladies. For some time past she has held a good position in a store in La Crosse. The groom is a street car conductor in La Crosse and a young man of excellent character and fine appearance. The bride has many friends here, especially among the young people who wish for them a happy future. They left Monday for La Crosse, where they will make their home.
