Greub, Mary (30 JAN 1917)
Last Tuesday afternoon there was a happy gathering at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. John Greub in the town of Cleveland, Jackson Co., Wis., when their daughter Miss Mary was united in marriage with Mr. Herman Reider, in the presence of a large number of close friends and relatives. Rev. D. Grether of the reformed church, pronounced the words which united this happy couple for life's journey.
The bride was tastily gowned in dark blue crepe-de-chine and carried white chrysanthemums. Miss Caroline Baumgartner was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by a brother of the bride, John Greub.
Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served by the bride's mother and was heartily enjoyed by the guests present. Mr. and Mrs. Reider were the recipients of a large number of handsome and useful wedding gifts from their many friends. This young couple is well and favorably known by the community, and all unite in wishing them a happy and prosperous married life. For the present they will reside on the farm with the groom's parents just west of the village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.)
