The home of John Michael was the scene of a pretty home wedding on Tuesday evening, Feb. 18, at 8:00, when Mr. Michael and Mrs. Lena Messerli were united in marriage, Rev. D. Grether officiating. The bride and groom were attended by Mrs. J. Repplinger and Mr. J. Trachsel. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a few relatives and near friends.

After the ceremony a fine wedding supper was served, the table being prettily decorated with carnations and narcissus, and the room with white and green.

At the close of the banquet the Humbird, Clark County, Wis. band was invited into the home and rendered music during the evening. A large number of friends from the village and country assembled to extend congratulations and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Michael and to wish them a happy wedded life.
