Smith, Ethel (6 NOV 1919)
Rev. James W. Kendall, pastor of the local F. M. Church, was united in marriage on Nov. 6, 1919, at Chetek, Wis., his bride being Miss Ethel Smith, a popular church worker and nurse of that city. The vows were taken at the Free Methodist Parsonage in Chetek, the Rev. E. A. Wolfe officiating, in the presence of a small party of relatives and friends. Following the ceremony, the party partook of a delightful wedding supper, prepared by Mrs. Wolfe. The bride was a former resident of York Center, and at one time attended school in this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.). For the past seven years her home has been at Chetek.
The pastor and his bride arrived here the last of the week and are now at home at the parsonage. We unite with all in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
