Iffland, Mayme M. (3 JUN 1920)

The marriage of Miss Mayme M. Iffland to Mr. Leonard J. Laffe took place Thursday at 2:30 p.m., at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Iffland. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. J. Coram of Hixton, in the presence of the immediate families, in the parlors of the Iffland home, under a canopy formed of the national emblem and a bell of Lilies of the valley. Ferns were the decorations of the rooms, while the tables at which the wedding luncheon was served was decorated with sweet peas. Miss Mary Laffe attended the bride and Mr. Hugh Iffland acted as best man.

The bride wore a wedding dress of white satin and carried white roses, and the bridesmaid wore a gown of pink georgette crepe and carried pink roses. The groom and best man were attired in blue serge.

After the wedding repast, Mr. and Mrs. Laffe left on a honeymoon trip, driving to Augusta, where they took the evening train for a visit to Seattle and other points in the state of Washington. They will be at home to their friends after July 15th.
