Tubbs, Sybil (20 NOV 1920)
Last Saturday evening at 6:30, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. Edwin Barkley and Miss Sybil Tubbs were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. Rev. J. F. Royer of Viroqua, an uncle of the bride, officiated. After the ceremony the wedding guests, who were members of the families of these young people, were served a dainty wedding supper.
Both the bride and groom are two of our popular young people. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. I. Tubbs, and for a number of years has been an operator for the telephone company. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Barkley, and is in the employ of Fred Hart in the meat market at Granton, Clark County. They will reside in Granton, and have already begun housekeeping in that village.
