Wilcox, Edith O. (1832? - 7 Sept. 1921)

Mrs. Edith O. Wilcox, one of the old settlers of the town of York, and later residing in Neillsville for many years, passed away Sept. 7, 1921, in her 89th year, at Elizabeth, N. J. The announcement of her death reached the Press office through her daughter, Mrs. Elva W. Carpenter. Mrs. Wilcox will be remembered by many of our older residents, as a woman of rare intelligence and fine culture.
