Brillion, Louis ( 11 Feb. 1855 - 19 Dec. 1921)
Louis Brillion died at his home in this city early Monday morning, December 19, of cancer of the stomach.
Mr. Brillion was born near Montreal, Canada, Feb. 11th, 1855. He left home when a young lad and spent years in Vermont and in the Adriondack country of New York sate. In 1876 he came to Wisconsin and was employed as timber estimator and cruiser at Neillsville, which occupation he followed most of his life. It was there he married Miss. Harrie Ayres thirty-seven years ago last July. They resided at Neillsville seventeen years and then located at Lac du Flambeau, Wis., where he was employed by a lumber company In 1907 they moved to Crandon and have since made this city their home. Three children were born to them, one daughter drying infancy. The other two, Mrs. Wm. Sherlock, of Superior, and Donald of Minneapolis, are left to mourn with the widow. Mrs. M. Beaulieu of Neillsville, a sister of Mrs. Brillion, also attended the funeral.
Masonic services were conducted at the residence Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock , interment in the Crandon cemetery. The deceased was also a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. Crandon, Wis., Paper.
