Henchen, Frieda (Marriage 07 Dec. 1921)
Mr. John F. D. Martens and Miss Frieda Henchen were married at 8:00 o’clock Wednesday evening, Dec. 7, at the Globe parsonage, Rev. Parisius officiating. They were attended by Clarence Henchen, brother of the bride, and Helanda Martens, sister of the groom. After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Henchen in the town of Weston, only immediate relatives and close friends being presents.
The groom is the son of Wm. Martens of Pine Valley. He grew to manhood at the farm home and for the past three years has been employed in the Stelloh Bros. Machinery warehouse. He is a young man of fine character and much liked by the public generally. The bride has been engaged in dressmaking in the town of Weston and is a young lady of whom everyone who knows her, speaks in terms of highest praise.
The young couple will live in Neillsville. We join with their large circle of friends in wishing them a successful and happy life.
