Clayton Pickett Dies

Clayton Pickett, 52 years of aged died at the home of Mrs. E. J. Beaser where he was being cared for, Sunday, Jan. 9. He had been in ill health for the past 16 years as the result of a spinal injury.

A former resident of that town of Cleveland, he came to this city from Chetek four years ago. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, and three sons. One son Pvt. Clarence Pickett is in the armed forces at Fort George Meade, Maryland.

Mr. Pickett was a brother of Perl Pickett of this village (in same paper).
