Otis, Leland T. (20 OCT 1836 - 16 JUN 1922)

Leland T. Otis died at the home of his nephew, Irwin Beede, on June 16, 1922, at the advanced age of 85 years, 7 months and 27 days.

Deceased had been a resident of the vicinity since Dec 1876, when he first came to Wisconsin. He was the last one of a family of three brothers and two sisters. He leaves three nephews, H. V. and W. D. Beede of Merrillan, and I. J. Beede of Houghtonburg, and one niece, Mrs. Gertrude Houghton of Cushman, Mont. Funeral services were held at the Beede home Sunday afternoon. Rev. A. J. Coram officiating. Burial was in the Houghtonburg Cemetery.
