(1840? - 25 Mar 1923) A resident of this
village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) many years ago, John Molzahn,
died on March 25th, 1923, at Hastings, Minn. Of his death the
Winona Independt says: "John Molzahn, aged 82 years, born in
Prussia, for 38 years a resident of Winona, who went to Hastings
two years ago, died in that city Sunday. The body has been brought
to the undertaking parlors of J. J. Kelly in this city. He is
survived by seven daughters and one son, Mrs. Mary Cisewski, Mrs.
J. P. Czapiewski, Mrs. Thomas Hall, Mrs. Arthur Moore, all of
Winona, Mrs. Josephine Goltz of Chicago, Mrs. John Steber of
Elkador, Iowa, Mrs. Oscar Paulson and Fred Molzahn, both of
Rochester." The burial was in
Winona on Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Molzahn died at their home
in Winona six years ago. The deceased was a shoemaker, which trade
he followed during the years he made this place his home. The
family lived where Mrs. Stanley's residence now is. Mr. Molzahn and
the members of the family are kindly remembered by those who knew
