Lowman was born Nov. 19, 1872, near Fairchild, Eau Claire Co.,
Wis., and passed away June 14, 1924, at the St. Vincent Hospital at
Billings, Mont., death being caused from spotted fever. In 1901, he was
united in marriage to Miss Mayme Dunn at Ludington. Six children
were born to this union, namely: Oliver of Baraboo, Grace of
Cleveland, Jackson Co., Bertha M. of Craig, Colo., and Jessie, Roy,
and Earl of Billings, Mont. In 1910, Mrs. Bowman departed this life
at their farm home in the town of Cleveland, Jackson Co. A few
years later, he, with his young family, moved to Billings, where
six years ago he was married to Miss Heath of that city. Two girls
were born to them, Rilla and Frieda, who with the widow now reside
on a farm near Billings. The remains were
brought to Fairchild, and the funeral was held from the home of his
sister, Mrs. Clifford Dunn, in Garden Valley, Monday afternoon,
Rev. Alex J. Abbott officiating. Among a large concourse of
