Faldeschwiler, aged fifty-six years and nine months, died at his
home in this village (Stanley, Clark County, Wis.) on Thursday,
Aug. 27, 1914. Mr. Faldeschwiler was born in Baden, Germany, and
came to America in 1893, settling on a farm in the town of Worden.
For several years he followed this occupation when failing health
forced him to retire and he took up his residence in this village.
He was a good citisen and enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him.
The funeral, which took place at St. Bernard's Church on Sunday
afternoon last, was very largely attended, Father Neises
officiating. He leaves a devoted wife and four children, all
resident here as follows: Andrew Faldeschwiler, Mrs. Louis Henke
and Misses Mary and Anna Faldeschwiler, also five brothers, Alois
Faldeschwiler of the town of Worden and four others still residents
