Geffers, R. (1855 - 15 Jan 1915)

Passed away, on Friday Jan. 15, 1915, R. Geffers at the age of 59 years. He was born at Baraboo, where he spent his boyhood days. About six years ago he bought a farm near here (Stanley, Clark County, Wis.), where he has since lived with his family. The funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon and conducted by Rev. James of Stanley, assisted by the Stanley Choir. He was taken to Baraboo where services were conducted by the Presbyterian minister, interment taking place in the home cemetery where his parents and son Ralph are buried. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and daughter, besides several brothers and sisters. They have the sympathy of the whole town.
