Schlichter - Staves
Miss Mildred Schlichter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schlichter, and George Staves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Erven Staves, were married at Fairview, June 15 in a double ring ceremony, solemnized by Rev. Joseph Brake. The alter of St. Joseph's church was decorated with beautiful garden flowers. Mrs. William Staves was matron of honor, and Mr. William Staves, brother of the groom, was best man. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents for 67 guest. A wedding dance was given at the Humbird town hall in the evening.
