Taylor, Mary Janet ( 15 Dec. 1868 - 23 Dec. *1921)*Just pointing out what I believe is an error; I think her death happened in 1921 not 1922*
Mary Janet, daughter of William and Elvira Phillips, was born in Virginia, Dec. 15, 1868. When an infant she moved with her parents to New Hampton, Iowa, and at the age of thirteen came with them to Clark County, locating in the town of Washburn. She was married to David Taylor on March 30, 1887, and one child was born to them, Mrs. A. V. Wallace.
Mrs. Taylor was a woman of many very excellent qualities. She was a great home woman and her home was one of the contentment and happiness. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and lived a life of goodness and kindness. She was a kindly neighbor and was held in the very highest esteem by her life-long friends and associates. For several months past she had been ailing and her death came on Thursday, Dec. 23, *1922. She is survived by her husband and daughter and grand-daughter.
The funeral was held on Saturday, services being conducted at the home by Rev. DuBois at 11 o’clock. Mrs. Ethel Hendricks of Wausau and Chet Winters of Ladysmith were here for the funeral.
