Ritchie, Flora (15 Oct. 1897 - 5 March 1922)
Mrs. Flora Ritchie died Sunday night, March 5, the cause of her death being an internal hemorrhage. Deceased was born Flora Wood, daughter of Joseph and Julia Wood, in the town of Hewett, May 21, 1871. She was married to Wm. Ritchie Oct. 15, 1897. They made their home in the town of Hewett until her husband’s death four years ago. Four children were born to them: Harvey and May who died in infancy, Frank who died at the age of 16 and Erwin, now 16 years of age, who survives his mother. She leaves also one step-son, Robert Ritchie of Independence, Ia. She leaves also three sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Eva Forbush, Mrs. C.B. Dresden, Mrs. John Galbreath and Joseph and David Wood.
She was a woman of good purposes and kindly deeds.
The funeral is held at the Congregational church this afternoon, Thursday, at 2 o’clock, Rev. Longenecker officiating
