Short, Eleanor (24 DEC 1921)

We here record the marriage of Donald Sherwood of Fairchild, Eau Claire Co., Wis. and Miss Eleanor Short, which took place at the Methodist Parsonage in Fairchild on Saturday evening, Dec. 24, 1921. Miss Elsie Arndt acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. Lawrence Wills as best man. Rev. A. J. Coram officiated, using the beautiful ring ceremony of the church.

The groom is one of the young businessmen of our neighboring village, associated with the Fairchild Motor Co., and is well though of by his many friends. The bride is the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Short of this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.), is a graduate of the Eau Claire Normal School, and a teacher in our school since its opening last September, being held in high esteem by all who know her for her gracious manner and bright winsomeness. They will reside in Fairchild, making their home for the present with the groom's parents. We are wishing for this fine couple a happy and prosperous journey through their married life.
