A happy wedding, and when in there a wedding that is not, was solemnized at 4:30 last Sunday afternoon, when Squire Travis pronounced the words that made Mr. Silas Delano and Mrs. Georgia E. Colburn husband and wife. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride in this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.), in the midst of a wedding party of about thirty relatives and close friends. A bountiful wedding dinner followed the ceremony. Both Mr. and Mrs. Delano are well and favorably known by our folks, the groom having been a resident here for nearly forty years; the bride moved here from Arcadia a few years ago. A host of friends unite in congratulations and wishes that every day and every hour of their lives May be filled with happiness as they go, hand in hand, toward the setting sun. Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Colburn and daughter Vera of Altoona; Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Bollom, son Ellsworth and daughter Naomi, of Fairchild, and Miss Irene Hart of Granton.
