HUMBIRD ENTERPRISE (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) 09/06/1924 Borger, Cora M.
(30 Augl 1924) Miss Cora Mae,
second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nic. Borger of Merrillan, and
Wallace Hemmy, were united in marriage at Black River Falls
Saturday forenoon, Aug. 30, 1924. The young couple was accompanied
by Miss Grace Borger, sister of the bride, and Howard Hemmy,
brother of the groom. The bride was dressed in a charming gown of
blue charmeuse and the groom wore a dark blue suit. Returning to
Merrillan about noon, they partook of a wedding dinner at the home
of the bride's parents, attended by relatives of both contracting
parties only. In the afternoon,
the newlyweds left by auto for a two seek trip through the southern
part of Wisconsin, and will also visit awhile in Chicago. On their
return they will reside at the home of the groom's parents on the
fine farm south of this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.). The bride is a
talented young lady of our neighbor village, graduate of its high
school, and will prove a helpful wife to the young man who has won
her heart and hand. The groom is one of the fine young men of this
vicinity, a graduate of our high school with the class of 1919, and
has always been popular with his acquaintances, who join at this
time in extending their congratulations. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
