We have a sad death to report this week. Mary Dunn, the devoted wife of Joseph C. Dunn, passed away January 13, 1904.

Mary Emerson was born April 20, 1845, and was married to Joseph Dunn in Dodge County in 1866. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband and one daughter, Mrs. George (Effie) Andrews of Hardy, Ark. one son, Clarence of Greenwood, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Miss Esther Dunn of McIntire, Iowa. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Loyal, with burial taking place in the Loyal City Cemetery.
