William Gabriel died Tuesday night, April 18, at the home of his nephew, Chas. Kupke, in the town of York, aged 78 years, one month, and six days. Deceased was born in Germany. He worked out during all of his residence here, was unmarried and had no home of his own, but lived for some time past at the home of his nephew, where he died. He had one brother, but at present his place of residence is unknown.

Funeral services will be held at Lowe’s undertaking parlors Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock.
