Schwellenbach, Annettie (16 Sept.1882 - 17 April 1922)
Globe
We cannot remember the day when this community was so greatly shocked as it was last Monday, April 17th, when the news spread of the sudden death of Mrs. Ed Schwellenbach, after only a few hours of illness. Mrs. Schwellenbach was born Annettie Bahr Sept. 16th, 1882. On March 17th, 1909, she was united in marriage to Ed Schwellenbach. This married was blessed with five children. Bennie, 12 years, Edna 10, Isabelle 8, Ernest 4 and little Adeline being only twenty-one months old, who with their dear father, gratly mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother, who was always willing to help where there was need. She is also survived by her aged father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bahr, of Marshfield, and one sister, Mrs. August Moelling, also of Marshfield and many other relatives and friends, who deeply mourn her loss. The funeral was held at the Lutheran Church last Thursday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. Parisius. The bereaved husband and children and her father and sister have this community’s heartfelt sympathy.
Precious wife and mother, she has left us, Left us, yes, forevermore; But we hope to meet our loved on, On that bright and happy shore. Lonely the house and sad the hours, Since our dear one had gone, But oh, a brighter home than ours, In heaven is now her own.
Mrs. Rosa Bahr of Spring Valley was here to attend the funeral of her niece, Mrs. Ed Schwellenbach. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bahr, Mr. and Mrs. August Moelling and children of Marshfield were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Ed Schwellenbach.
