Wilbur H. Hudson died at his home in this city May 19, aged 74 years, five months and 16 days.
Mr. Hudson was born in southern Wisconsin and lived for many years near Bellville in Green County.
About 15 years ago he came with his sisters to Clark County, purchasing a farm in the town of Grant. Later he sold this and moved to Neillsville.
Mr. Hudson kept a team, working several lots of land in the city and doing odd jobs as he was able. He was an honest, conscientious man, very quiet and home-loving in his habits. He was never married. A few years ago one of the sisters died, and the other aged sister is left practically alone in the world.
Brief funeral services were held at the home Sunday morning, Rev. Longenecker officiating.
The remains were taken to Bellville for burial in the old home cemetery.
Mrs. Fred Sears went with the aged sister to assist her on the trip. They went overland by auto to Humbird to get the noon train on the main line.
