James Norris, a typo in the Gleaner office at Greenwood, visited here last week. W. E. Benedict and J. Davis have purchased A. Benedict's store and have taken charge of the same. Here is success to the new proprietors. N. A. Wiff, of Menomonie, was a caller last Monday. W. H. Smithers and wife returned home last Wednesday from Spencer, Iowa. A. C. Turner, V. E. Rowe and A. E. Fulwiler attended the mask ball at Loyal lat Friday night. Willie Campbell cut his foot last Monday. It required five stitches to sew up the wound. The blizzard last Wednesday was about the worst that ever was had here. The for the Epworth League next Sunday evening is "Selfish, Ambition and Christ's Service." Eddie Voight is very sick with blood poisoning. Some of our young people went to Christie Sunday evening to attend the crusade meeting. One of Mr. Voight's cows presented him with twin calves last Sunday.
