(11 Dec 1879 - 26 May 1921) Thomas A. Catlin
was born in Calumet Co., Wis., Dec. 11, 1879 and died at his home
northeast of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. on Thursday morning, May
26th at the age of 41 years. He came to Clark
Co. with his parents when very young and has lived the most of his
life in this section of the country, where he was well known. On
Dec. 4, 1907, he was married to Miss Meda Garvin and to this union
were born three children, Garvin, Valda and Gerald. He is also
survived by his mother, Mrs. Jane Catlin, three brothers: Will of
Loyal, Frank of the town of Unity, Otto of Stevens Point, one
sister, Mrs. Clarence Hutchins of the town of Unity, besides other
relatives and a large number of friends who mourn his untimely
death in the prime of life. In his death the community has lost a
valuable citizen and the family a kind husband and father. He was a member of
the M. W. A. of the Loyal Camp. Many members attended in a body, as
well as members from the Spencer, Greenwood and York Camps, and
conducted the services at the grave. The funeral
service was held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the M. W. A.
Hall and was largely attended by relatives and friends, Rev. Wilson
Mallory officiating. The following
acted as pallbearers, H. E. Brown, Lawrence Bowman, H. Haslett, R.
K. Stevens, A. J. Sayles and Oscar Hutchins. The whole
community extends its heartfelt sympathy to the grief stricken
family. Those from away
who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Otto Catlin of Stevens
Point, Mrs. Pickle and daughter of Antigo, Mr. and Mrs. Algie
Pickle of Wausau, Mrs. R. V. Cole and daughter of West Bend, Mrs.
Clark Davis of Cedarburg, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hutchins and Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Catlin of the town of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Salter of
Unity.

Looking for a relative of Frank Catlin. He Born in IL but I know my family is from Wisconsin, wife was IDA, Children were Ira, Louis, Frank P, Ida and Mark.
