MAY 1841 - 22 May 1921) Mrs. August Grams
died at her home in this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) on
Sunday morning, May 22, 1921, after an illness that lasted five
years. Auguste Grams was
born May 4, 1841 in Province of Rosen, Germany. In the year 1875
she was married to August Grams. To this union was born 8 children,
two of which preceded her in death. They came to
America in 1878, settling in Whitewater, where they lived for 20
years. In 1898 they moved to Jefferson Co., where they lived for
awhile, coming to Clark Co. 20 years ago, living the last few years
in this village. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, 6
daughters, two step-sons and 21 grandchildren. She was a loving
wife and mother and her memory will long be cherished. The funeral
services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the local
Lutheran Church, Rev. E. Kemena officiating. She was laid to rest
