Henchen, Elsie (Marriage - 28 June 1922)
Mr. Joseph Turenne of Thorp and Miss Elsie Henchen of Globe were quietly married on Wednesday afternoon, June 28, at the Globe Lutheran parsonage; Rev. Parisius officiating. They were attended by Clarence and Clara Henchen, brother and sister of the bride. A reception for the immediate relatives and near friends of the bride and groom, was held at her parent’s home after the ceremony. The bride was prettily attired in white crepe de chine and white satin and wore a veil. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Henchen and is a young lady of rare excellence of mind and character. She has many friends wherever she is known. The groom is an industrious young farmer whose home is three miles southeast of Thorp where they will soon begin housekeeping. The best wishes of the people here go with them to their new home.
