Fullmer, Herbert R. (9 Jul 1852 - 19 Mar 1922)
Herbert R. Fullmer of Ingram, Wis. died at the Ladysmith Hospital Sunday morning, March 19, 1922. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David J. Fullmer, was born at Pt. Ebens, Ontario, Canada, on July 9, 1852.
In the year 1865 he came to the township of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., with his parents, who were pioneers of this vicinity, and took up 160 acres of timberland one and one-half miles east of this village, which he helped clear and improve.
Mr. Fullmer was married Sept. 2, 1878 to Miss Melissa Taylor, Clarksville, Iowa, who with two children survive him. His oldest son William D. served four years in the World War as a Captain with the Canadian Cavalry Forces.
He is also survived by two brothers, Harvey H. Fullmer, Woodruff, Wis., and L. D. Fullmer, Portland, Oregon; five sister, Miss Hettie Fullmer, Marshfield; Mrs. Eva Mosher, Thorp; Mrs. Carrie Holiday, Clam Falls, Wis.; Mrs. Ella Ketchum, Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Lois Spengler, Duluth.
The deceased was highly esteemed in the community where he lived.
Interment was in the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery.
