Klein, Amelia (4 SEP 1862 - 20 Augl 1922)
Amelia Brussow Klein was born in Germany Sept. 4, 1862. She came to America in the year 1874 and resided in Freeport, Ill., for about two years and then came to Wisconsin in 1876. She was married to Mr. Jacob Klein on the 14th of May 1881, to which union were born two sons, Richard of Waukesha and Emil at home.
There remains to mourn her departure her husband, her sons, four grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and other relatives.
Mrs. Klein has suffered for several years from the results of a broken hip, but the immediate cause of death was apoplexy. The stroke occurred on Sunday Aug. 20, and her death resulted on the following Tuesday, Aug. 22, 1922.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. E. Knaak at the home in the town of Beaver, Clark County on Thursday.
Interment was made in the Dodgeville Cemetery.
