OCT 1921) The home of Mrs.
Cora Miles was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday evening Oct.
18, 1921, when her daughter, Emily, was united in marriage to Mr.
Bruce Erwin of Marshfield. Rev. Knaak performing the ceremony. The bride was
becomingly attired in a dress of blue crepe de chine and was
attended by her sister, Blanch. The groomsman was Mr. Ben Erwin, a
brother of the groom. After the
ceremony, supper was served to the wedding party and guest which
were the immediate relatives only. Miss Miles is a
graduate of our local high school (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) and
was a student of Bushey's Business College at Appleton and for the
past eight months has been employed at the store of Ben Picus as
cashier. The bride is very well known here and has a pleasant,
sunny disposition that endeared her to all who knew her. The groom is a
prosperous young farmer and although a stranger to many here is
well spoken of by those who know him. Mr. and Mrs. Erwin
left the same evening for a trip to Kilburn and the Dells and will
be at home at Marshfield after Nov. 1st. The Tribune joins
