(Neillsville, Wis.) 04/20/1893 Wilcox, Wisconsin; April 12, 1893 W. Fulwiler came home from Chili
the other day with face all swollen up with toothache. The I.O.G.T. social was not
largely attended on account of the rain and hall that evening, but the performance
went on just the same, and it was pronounced a good entertainment by those present.
L. Fulwiler and F. Benedict are at work in Chili. Mrs. William Rowe scalded her
arm so bad she can not use it. R. Free has bought S. W. Richardson's farm. April 19, 1893 Last week our items were a little
late; we smuggled them in the outside box in the P. O. and stepped inside and to
our surprise, found that the stage had gone. Mr. Pettet, an uncle to Mrs. William
Mortimer, is visiting friends here. Miss Millie Door visited at the home of Walter
Rowe. Blacksmiths have birthdays, also surprise parties. If you doubt our word,
ask L. W. Mack. A. Benedict and little Jim Gibson are on the sick list. J. J. Rowe,
Sr. and J. H. Garvin are at Chili working for the Heading firm. S. D. Gibson joined
the M.W.A. camp at Granton Monday night, April 10th. S. W. Richardson talks of going
to Sheboygan to work this summer. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
