Erickson, Bertha (Marriage 29 July 1922)
A quiet wedding ceremony, which took place at the Presbyterian manse Saturday evening, July 29th, united in the holy bonds of wedlock Mr. Milton F. McPherson of Marshfield, Wisconsin, and Miss Bertha Erickson of Yakima, Washington.
The wedding party consisted of the contracting couple, Mrs. Frank McPherson, mother to the groom and Mr. and Mrs. George Struebing, brother-in-law and sister to the groom. The romance which consummated in the happy union of this young couple began while they were in college in Washington.
Mr. McPherson is well and favorably known in the vicinity of Shortville, where he was reared, and the bride is a worthy young lady, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Erickson, of Florence, Washington.
The young couple left Neillsville on the midnight train Saturday for Marshfield, Wisconsin, where they will reside for the time being, while the groom finishes his studies in electrical engineering.
