Robert K. Dangremond, a former resident of Neillsville, recently was elected senior vice president of corporate development for Houston General Insurance Company, Fort Worth, Texas.

Dangremond is the son of Bob and Phillipa Dangremond, Granton.

As senior vice president, Dangremond is responsible for the overall planning, personnel, training, internal control and office and administrative services.

Prior to his employment with Houston General, Dangremond was an assistant vice president for Equitable General Insurance Group of Fort Worth. There he was primarily responsible for the company’s productivity and work measurement programs.

Dangremond also has worked for USAA as director of accounting and State Farm Insurance Company as superintendent of investment accounting.

Houston General Insurance Company is the commercial lines subsidiary of Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance Company, Ltd., Japan’s oldest and largest casualty insurance firm.
