Eisentraut, Jeanne Marie (17 January 1981)
Jeanne Marie Eisentraut and Jeffrey Strangfeld were united in marriage during
St. Mary’s Catholic Church ceremonies on Saturday afternoon, January 17. The
Rev. Joseph Henseler officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. David
Eisentraut, Rt. 4 Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Strangfeld, also of Rt. 4
Neillsville.
Serving as maid of honor was Tami Eisentraut, a sister of the bride from
Neillsville. She was joined by Shari Bischoff a friend from Neillsville, and
Dianna Mavis, a friend from Greenwood.
Larry Strangfeld, the brother of the groom from Neillsville, was bestman. He was
joined by Greg Heiman and Tim Henning, both friends from Neillsville. Ushering
were Wayne Opelt, an uncle of the bride from Neillsville, and Bruce Strangfeld,
a brother of the groom from Eau Claire.
“The Rose,” “The Wedding Song” and “Follow Me” were the musical selections
offered at the service by soloist Cindy Strangfeld and organist Ronald Resong.
The bride wore an entrained gown of silk organza which was detailed with French
lace and was accented with a crystal pleated bodice and hemline. Her veil was of
lace, pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white and pink roses. Her
attendants wore gowns of burgundy color with matching jackets. They each carried
three winter lilies. The groom and his attendants were attired in gray,
long-tailed tuxedos.
Following the service, a reception was held at the Moonlite Inn in Neillsville
with a dance following at the American Legion Hall.
The new Mrs. Strangfeld is a 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School. Her
husband graduated from the same school in 1979 and from District I Technical
Institute in Eau Claire in 1980. He is employed by Marquart Motors of Eau
Claire. The couple will make their home in Eau Claire.
