Short, Helen (Marriage - 12 Jan. 1923)

On Friday afternoon Rev. Scott united in marriage Miss Helen Short and William Vine, the ceremony taking place at 3:30 at the M. E. parsonage. The couple were attended by Lettie and Ray Vine. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. James Hughes and a young lady of exceptional attainments and great capability. She has been teaching school during the past year and is one of Pleasant Ridge’s most sincerely liked young ladies. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vine and is a hardworking, energetic and capable young farmer. The Press extends its most cordial congratulations to the young couple.
