Langreck, Aumann (Marriage - 3 Feb. 1923)
Mr. Henry Aumann and Miss Agnes Langreck were united in marriage at 8 :30 o’clock Tuesday morning, Feb. 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic church, the groom’s brother, Rev. Edward Aumann of Ft. Atkinson officiating. They were attended by Mr. Jake Langreck and Miss Rose Langreck, brother and sister of the bride. The bride was prettily attired in a white silk-satin dress and carried a bouquet of carnations and sweet peas.
After the ceremony a bountiful wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, a which only relatives and close friends were present.
The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Aumann of the town of Pine Valley. He came here with his parents when a small boy and has grown up in this community with a good reputation for industry and integrity. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Langreck, who resided on Pleasant Ridge. She is a young lady of charming personality and has had a home training that fit her well for the duties that will await here in her new home.
The young couple left on the noon train for a trip to Milwaukee, Jefferson and other places in Southern Wisconsin. On their return they will being housekeeping at the John Aumann farm which they have rented.
