Mrs. Mary Neubecker of Levis died in Chicago Oct. 24, aged 74 years, 6 month and 7 days. She had gone to Chicago to visit some of her children and while there had a slight surgical operation from which infection set in causing her death. Her remains were brought back here for burial. She was a very fine lady and much like by all who know her.

She is survived by four sons, William, who lived in Chicago, Matt and Frank on the home farm and George in Neillsville, and one daughter, Elizabeth Schradter in Chicago. The funeral was held Thursday, Rev. Hasz of Granton officiating. Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neubecker, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Neubecker, Jacob Neubecker and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neubecker and Elizabeth Schradter, all of Chicago.
