Mannier, Geraldine (8 March 1923 – 19 February 1981)
Geraldine Mannier, 57, of Chicago, a former Greenwood resident, died February 19
in a Chicago hospital after a 3 year lingering illness.
She was born March 8, 1923, in Chili, receiving her education at the Town of
Mead and Warner schools. She worked in Chicago, where she met her husband,
Kenneth.
She is survived by her husband; 3 sons, William of Wheeling, Illinois, Steven of
Chicago and Douglas at home; one granddaughter; one brother, Robert Daw,
Chicago; and one sister Joyce Perelka. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Ervin and Eldora Daw, Greenwood.
The funeral was held on February 21, in Wheeling, with the Rev. Wm. Ahlfeldt
officiating. Interment was in Wheeling.
Those attending the funeral from away were Mr./Mrs. Gene Bomback, Aurora, Il.;
Mrs. Walter Fender and daughter, Barbara, and Mrs. Harry Wallis and children,
Neillsville; and Lisa and Harry Wallis, Jr. Willard.
