Swoverland, Roy (? – 16 February 1981)
Word has been received by Mrs. Kenneth Loberg of the death of her brother Roy
Swoverland, 76, Lebanon, Oregon, who passed away February 16 at his home. He had
been in ill health for some time.
He was employed at the former Roddis Plywood, now Weyerhaeuser, in Marshfield
for ten years. He then was employed at the farms of Rush Hake and Warren Hake in
the Neillsville area and also a number of years for Otto Warren.
He was married to the former Helen Stein of Ladysmith. They moved to Albany,
Oregon, then to their present home in Lebanon where he was employed at another
branch of Weyerhaeuser Lumber for 25 years, until his retirement.
His wife and one daughter and two sons survive. He is also survived by five
sisters and four brothers.
