NEILLSVILLE -- Two physicians have joined the staff of the Neillsville Clinic, bringing the total to nine doctors.

They are Dr. Rupa Channamaneni, a specialist in internal medicine and oncology, and Dr. Sampath Chennamaneni, who specializes in anesthesiology.

The Chennamanenis are natives of India. Dr. Rupa received her medical degree from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India, and completed her internship, residencies and fellowship in New York State. Prior to coming to Neillsville she was associate attending physician in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, which is associated with Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York.

Dr. Sampath is a graduate of Kakatiya Medical College, Warrangal, India. His internships and residencies were in India and New York. He completed his fellowships in Brooklyn, New York, and Boston. He was the attending physician in anesthesiology in Brooklyn Jewish Hospital before coming to Neillsville.

The couple have one child and are residing at 115 Park St., Neillsville.
