Hollenbeck, Esther (13 May 1898 - 7 Feb. 1923)

Miss Esther Hollenbeck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hollenbeck of the town of Lynn, died at the Sanitarium at Eau Claire February 7, of tuberculosis. She was born at Granton May 13, 1898 and lived all her lived in the vicinity. Over a year ago her health failed and last July she was sent to the Sanitarium but received no permanent help. She was a young lady of many lovable qualities and her early death is a sad blow to her home. She leaves her parents, five sisters and three brothers to mourn her death.

Funeral services were held in Eau Claire and burial took place in Granton cemetery, with brief services by Rev. Mueller of Bakersville.
